Feature synopsis:
In the absurdist dark political satire "The Day Shall Come" (2019), a nutty and naive African American preacher, his worried family, and a small group of followers aim to bring hope to Miami's projects through his own version of God. When faced with eviction, he reluctantly agrees to an arms deal orchestrated by a nefarious character. Unbeknownst to him, the FBI plans to use him as a pawn in a false flag operation. But they underestimate his pacifist beliefs, loyalty, and unpredictable nature. Hilarity ensues as the preacher unwittingly upends their plans.
