juxtaposes all of the similarities, contrasts and contradictions of generational immigrant experiences in an emotional story; with the characters being forced to overcome their deep-set beliefs.

Don, an army veteran living under the radar, opens the door to Alison brandishing her glossy brochures. As she delivers the trickiest of news over tea and biscuits, it seems their different worlds are not so dissimilar.

Based on a true story, writer/director Michelle Jones lost her uncle (Kenneth Serverin) in 1995 when she was 14 years old. The film is a coming of age story set in 90’s London, of a teenage girl whose uncle (with no criminal record) dies in prison awaiting trial.
